A Spring Equinox Retreat
20–25 March 2027
The equinox is a natural pause point — day and night equal length, time in balance. The old season loosening its grip before the new one begins. It's always felt like the right moment to stop, breathe, and ask what you actually need.
For the last 5 years we’ve travelled to Morocco at this time of year for this exact reason: there’s something here that lends itself to slowing down, noticing the details, feeling what exists & really taking stock. This retreat is built around that pause.
This one is small — just 9 women — because some things need a smaller circle to work properly. A container that feels close enough to be honest in, and spacious enough to rest in.
MAKE + MOVE
Connect back to now
we need to rewild
Rewilding is a restoration of ecosystems and natural processes.
Often applied to forestry, we can apply the same thinking to ourselves: what is our natural state? How and where do we flourish?
In our busy, go go go society we may find ourselves far from the place we dreamed to be, we look around one day and wonder how we got here. Perhaps we don’t quite know what it is that we want but we know it isn’t quite “this”.
During this retreat we’ll move, breathe, share, rest - all in the pursuit of finding your true nature.
The you beneath it all.

Our Home
Our home for the week is Manira Palm, an eco-villa on the outskirts of Marrakech, with a pool, gardens, and generous, unhurried meals.
It's looked after by Nads, who sprinkles her calm over the whole place from the moment you arrive. This isn’t a standard hotel or any old place to stay; Nads welcomes us in to her home and it feels as such.
What to Expect
A collaboration between Lucy - the person behind Make+Move - and Charlotte - the person behind Gently Uplifting. A friendship seeded at this very place several years ago over a shared appreciation of nature & authenticity. You won’t find any small talk here.
Lucy will be teaching twice daily — movement, breath, rest — alongside Charlotte, who'll be offering ritual treatments and supporting practices throughout the week. Between us, the pace of the days will move between three things:
Active — dynamic yoga, a hike into the Atlas Mountains with (hopefully) a waterfall to dip into
Creative — a henna ritual, an optional pottery session
Restful — unhurried downtime, yoga Nidra, ritual treatments
The aim isn't to fill every hour. It's to leave you revived, energised, and supported — not depleted by a packed itinerary.
Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone — this retreat is open to all, whatever your yoga background. Most women who join are between 28 and 58, and what they tell me they value most is how welcoming and non-judgemental the space feels.
-
Just 10. That's deliberate — it keeps the group small enough to feel like a real circle rather than a crowd.
-
No — this retreat is open to complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners. The practices are designed to meet you where you are. Each day moves between three things: active (yoga, the hike), creative (henna, optional pottery), and restful (downtime, yoga Nidra, ritual treatments). The aim is to leave you revived and energised, not run ragged by a packed schedule.
-
Moderate — it is hilly and it helps to have a reasonable level of stamina, but it isn't a technical or gruelling trek.
-
Fly into Marrakech Menara Airport. An airport transfer at a designated time is included in your package. If you miss this, we’re able to help you arrange a transfer at your own cost.
-
A £350 non-refundable deposit secures your place.
You can then either pay the remaining balance in full within a month of booking, or spread it across instalments (each instalment adds £50, so the total paid is £150 more than paying in full).
