Change your Perspective

We need to rewild.

How often do you challenge yourself?

How often do you step outside of your comfort zone?

Much of our lives are safe, cocooned & sanitised. Often we play small out of fear or without even realising. We find ourselves stuck & lacking inspiration.

This retreat is a step away from that and towards where you want to be.

To connection. To peace. To your true nature.

This is your rewilding.

YOUR HOME

We’ll be staying in a truly unique setting: A Kasbah in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.

90 minutes from Marrakech, this unique mountain lodge sits on a hilltop at 1,800 m altitude, amongst North Africa’s highest peaks.

The Kasbah has no road access and is a 15 min walk / mule ride, which winds uphill from Imlil - the closest town.

This is an authentic eco-guesthouse: the product of an imaginative Berber and European partnership with a shared belief that the beauty of the Toubkal National Park should be accessible to all who respect it.

Accommodation is in a variety of rooms; some with balconies, some with huge bathrooms and all in a traditional style. Rooms sprawl around terraces, some perching atop a tower, some stepping down the hill. All with incredible views.

There is an onsite hammam that shares energy from the on-site bakery and - brand-new for 2025 - an infinity pool.

This is the perfect place to find a new perspective. To find some peace.

We’ll be fully catered throughout our stay (3 meals a day) with traditional Moroccan fare and enjoy a special lunch out on the mountain during our full day hike. Most dietary requirements can be catered for if notified in advance.

If you haven’t tried Moroccan cuisine before, you’re in for a treat - colourful, flavourful & plentiful

There’ll be the opportunity to use the on-site hammam where you can wash away the efforts of our trekking. The heat is generated from the kitchen & the cold plunge is fed by mountain spring water.

Also on offer is the new infinity pool. Equally fed by mountain water so expect a refreshing dip!

What to expect

Incredible: the scenery, the group, the yoga were all amazing. The kasbah is a special place and the combination of the walking and yoga worked really well.
— Sara, 2025

Rewilding is a restoration of ecosystems and natural processes. Often applied to forestry, we can apply the same thinking to ourselves: what is our natural state? How and where do we flourish?

To answer these questions we’ll spend time in movement to shift things - ideas, energy, obstacles. There’ll be opportunity to challenge - the daily hikes, dipping in the cold water perhaps. And there’ll be time to reflect & rest.

Alongside all of this is time to come together: share & witness through Circle, meals & ample time along the way.

It wouldn’t be a rewilding without time in nature and believe me - it’s all around here.

REWILDING

A group of hikers walking on a rocky mountain trail under a clear blue sky, with mountains and sparse trees in the background.

When was the last time you walked in the mountains? Felt small? Had the sun on your back? Took a big gulp of fresh mountain air??

We’ll have our own private guide to lead us on daily hikes on the numerous trails surrounding the Kasbah and into the mountains. These will be a mixture of half days and a full day hike.

A reasonable level of fitness will make this more enjoyable.

HIKING

Twice daily yoga practices will be held outside on the terrace or inside with the indulgent under-floor heating. A morning practice to awaken the body & mind and an early evening session to stretch out, wind down and settle. These will draw heavily on Katonah yoga, TCM, 5 Element Theory and Vinyasa flow.

Classes will cater to different abilities through variations and modifications, giving the chance to challenge yourself or go easy.

If you haven’t practised much/any yoga before - don’t worry as you’ll get 3 months access to the Online Studio.

YOGA

PAUSE. FEEL PEACE

Often overlooked is pausing. Being in the moment, fully present - not thinking about emails or rushing to the school pick up. When here, a sense of peace can be felt.

This retreat will give you ample opportunity to pause, rest & linger. Perhaps this looks like sitting down to take in the view whilst we’re hiking; lying by the pool & taking a nap, reading a book, sketching or a deeper conversation.

All sessions are optional. This is your time to use as you need.
